The Payneham Norwood Union Football Club proudly introduced women’s football in 2018, with an inaugural Division 2 Senior Women’s Team and 2 Junior Girl’s Teams. We are expanding on this in 2019 and beyond with the addition of a Division 5 Senior Women’s Reserves Team and attempts to increase female participation rates across our junior teams. We hope to provide a safe and supportive environment for female footballers at a variety of skill and confidence levels.

Junior Girls Partnership with Mt Lofty

We are excited to be partnering with the Mt Lofty Football Club in 2019 to offer 2 hybrid PNU-Lofty girls teams. Our U14 and U16 girls will benefit from the expertise and friendship from both clubs this year.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Mt Lofty on board this year – a club that is at the forefront of women’s football at a senior level for many years and who we have been fortunate enough to draw inspiration from as we, too, ventured into this space last year. Mt Lofty and Payneham have a close and collegial working relationship at a senior level and we are excited to be able to now share the benefits of that relationship across our junior teams as well.
