UPDATED: This weekend (Saturday 27th – Sunday 28th) there can only be maximum 300 people at the oval, including players. There will be food and beverage on sale, however there can only be 66 people in the bar area. Food cannot be shared (including half time oranges/lollies for players) and alcoholic beverages need to be consumed sitting down. Please make sure you are socially distancing at all times.

In relation to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we are following the latest guidance from the Adelaide Footy League and taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of players and members during trainings and trial games.

We’ve set up a dedicate page for you to find all information regarding the new training circumstances and protocols. Find out more here.

Thank you for understanding as we continue to navigate through this tricky time.

The Payneham Norwood Union Football Club proudly introduced women’s football in 2018, with an inaugural Division 2 Senior Women’s Team and 2 Junior Girl’s Teams. In 2019, PNUFCW expanded with an additional Division 5 Senior Women’s Reserves Team, who made it through to the finals. After just 2 years in the South Australian Womens Football League, the Division 2 Senior Womens team went undefeated and won the 2019 Premiership.

In 2020, we hope to expand our womens program and increase female participation rates across our senior and junior teams. We hope to provide a safe and supportive environment for female footballers at a variety of skill and confidence levels.

Keep your eyes on our Facebook page (@PNUFCWomen) for more information some of our events and open training sessions.

Junior Girls Partnership with Mt Lofty

We are excited to be partnering with the Mt Lofty Football Club in 2019 to offer 2 hybrid PNU-Lofty girls teams. Our U14 and U16 girls will benefit from the expertise and friendship from both clubs this year.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Mt Lofty on board this year – a club that is at the forefront of women’s football at a senior level for many years and who we have been fortunate enough to draw inspiration from as we, too, ventured into this space last year. Mt Lofty and Payneham have a close and collegial working relationship at a senior level and we are excited to be able to now share the benefits of that relationship across our junior teams as well.

For more information or to register, head to our juniors page.

If you are interested in playing or being involved in the womens program, please contact our Women’s Coordinator, Tait Brimacombe, at womens@pnufc.com.au
